Getrude Adiele

Registered Social Worker

My approach to treatment necessitates therapeutic alliance, which encourages the mutual development of therapy goals. I use the family systems theory as a grounding modality based on the premise that most adult challenges are deeply rooted in childhood experiences. I recognize that no one approach is ideal for every Individual. Therefore, I draw from different clinical modalities like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Person-centered approach, and biopsychosocial approach trauma-focused therapy. I have amassed training and experience in trauma, abuse, and addiction. I have experience working with BIPOC families and communities, facilitating family reunification.
