I approach healing work with a holistic, trauma-informed, and decolonizing lens, weaving together transpersonal and embodied practices with expressive art, movement, connection to nature and mindfulness in addition to talk-therapy. I love supporting clients in cultivating awareness of what drives emotional and behavioural patterns, and what they need in order to heal and thrive. I am currently completing training in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) to expand my scope in working with complex trauma, and I offer coaching and support for highly sensitive people.

Negative life events are an inevitable part of life, and I am here to empower you to have a meaningful life and navigate the struggles accompanied with family dynamics. Bessan Amer
Administrative Assistant
I am currently entering my fourth year in neuroscience and mental health at Carleton university. I am Palestinian and have always been active within my own community by organizing events to spread awareness. My activism has created a foundation for me to grow my passion in helping those that identify as Black, Indigenous, or a person of color. I understand the intersectionality between each one of our struggles when it comes to BIPOC communities, and playing any type of role within these spaces where I can support and help has always been a goal of mine. Working at Rubiks helps me provide these services to support and help these communities. I also have an opportunity to expand my knowledge on working with different people of different backgrounds.
In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball, eating good food, and spending time with my family.
